All Dry Eye Solution clinics follow the Toyos Protocols, developed by Dr Rolando Toyos (M.D., USA) — a comprehensive, evidence-based system defining the global standard for Dry Eye Disease diagnosis, treatment and ongoing care.
These protocols form the global gold standard for managing Dry Eye Disease, recognised for precision, safety and proven effectiveness across every stage of ocular-surface management.
Note: While Dr Toyos pioneered IPL, LLLT and PRP Drops, none of the devices currently approved in Australia meet his standards for medical-grade LLLT in Dry Eye therapy.
Dry Eye Solution exclusively uses Lumenis OptiLight IPL, the only system meeting the required precision for ocular use.

Technology Standards
All Dry Eye Solution clinics use Lumenis OptiLight IPL (ARTG 417251) — a medical-grade device listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods and FDA-approved in the United States.
Dr Toyos was instrumental in achieving both approvals and remains directly responsible for defining the global treatment parameters.
Every OptiLight device within Dry Eye Solution is programmed by Dr Toyos using his verified Toyos Protocols.
Dry Eye Solution does not use IRPL systems such as E-Eye or TearStim.
Independent verification of their technical and regulatory status is currently under review (TBC).

Our Automated OSDI Scoring System, available on our website, instantly calculates a patient’s score and provides a downloadable summary.
While not diagnostic on its own, it offers a clear, data-driven benchmark for symptom tracking.
